1. Barns deltagande i familjerättsliga processer
Sammanfattning : The dissertation contains an analysis of children’s right to participate in legal proceedings that concern the child personally in Swedish law and according to the international undertakings that Sweden has accepted, inter alia, by ratification of the UN convention on the rights of the child.In this work, an investigation is made into the application by the district courts of the legislative rules introduced in 1996, which give the child to right to state its view on matters that affect them personally. Sammanfattning : I den här avhandlingen granskas framväxten av den svenska välfärdsstaten i ljuset av internationell påverkan och kunskapsutbyten med andra länder. Avhandlingen handlar om barnavårdsavdelningen inom Svenska fattigvårds- och barnavårdsförbundet och den reformpolitik som fördes inom avdelningen under 1920- och 1930-talen – det vill säga det tidevarv då den den svenska välfärdsstaten formerades. Sammanfattning : In recent years, feminist research in education has put an increasing emphasis on the relationship between children and adults, mostly connected to a critique of gender pedagogy and other forms of so-called “fundamental values education” (värdegrundsarbete). This study looks at the power relations between children and adults in preschool in the context of educational activities intending to increase gender equity, social equality, and participation. Sammanfattning : In the wake of a steady flow of child migrants attempting to cross borders and states’ efforts to restrict immigration, various public controversies have arisen about the rights of asylum-seeking children. The ‘moral gap’ between the outcome of democratically enacted laws and the aim of controlling immigration, on the one hand, and public calls to protect the universal rights of asylum seeking children, on the other, have created a political challenge for Western democracies.
