    Sammanfattning : Materials that are renewable and biodegradable are demanded due to environmental aspects. Biopolymeric materials, such as materials from prolamins, fulfil both of these requirements. Prolamins are cereal storage proteins. Biopolymeric materials, such as materials from starch and cereal proteins, are both renewable and biodegradable.
