  1. 1. Post-Dural Puncture Headache in Obstetrics : Audiological, Clinical and Epidemiological studies

    Författare :Bijan Darvish; Anil Gupta; Lars Irestedt; Gunnar Dahlgren; Sigridur Kalman; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Accidental dural puncture; post-dural puncture headache; epidural blood patch; obstetrics; Anestesiologi; Anaesthesiology; Kirurgi; Surgery;

    Sammanfattning : Post-dural puncture headache (PDPH) is the most common complication of obstetric epidural analgesia. 3. 3. Molecular epidemiology of methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus : epidemiological aspects of MRSA and the dissemination in the community and in hospitals

    Författare :Carolina Berglund; Bo Söderquist; Teruyo Ito; Ulf Tidefelt; Johanna Ericson Sollid; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus MRSA ; community-acquired MRSA CA-MRSA ; staphylococcal cassette chromosome mec SCCmec ; multilocus sequence typing MLST ; horizontal transfer; Panton Valentine leukocidin PVL ; MEDICINE; MEDICIN; Medicin; Medicine;

    Sammanfattning : Methicillin-resistenta Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) som bär på genen mecA, har förekommit och spridit sig över hela världen, främst i sjukhusmiljö, och orsakat utbrott av vårdrelaterade (så kallade nosokomiala) infektioner. Dessa infektioner kan inte behandlas med stafylokock-penicilliner och MRSA-bakterierna är ofta resistenta även mot flera andra grupper av antibiotika vilket medför att infektionerna ofta är påtagligt svårbehandlade. 4. 4. Direct Drive Bone Conduction Stimulation: Experimental Studies on Functionality and Transmission with Focus on the Bone Conduction Implant

    Författare :Cristina Rigato; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; vibrations; audiological tests; Bone Anchored Hearing Aids; Bone Conduction; comparative study; Bone Conduction Implant; transcutaneous;

    Sammanfattning : Sound is conducted to the inner ear in two ways: by air and by bone. Air conduction (AC) hearing consists of sound waves entering the ear canal and reaching the cochlea, the main hearing organ, via the middle ear. In bone conduction (BC) hearing, instead, the transmission is through soft tissues and bone. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Approaches to Audiological Rehabilitation with Hearing Aids : studies on pre-fitting strategies and assessment of outcomes

    Författare :Marie Öberg; Thomas Lunner; Gerhard Andersson; Louise Hickson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Audiology; Audiologi;

    Sammanfattning : Fourteen percent of the Swedish population report subjective hearing loss. The number of persons suffering from hearing loss is expected to increase in accordance with the increased length of the average life span, causing an associated increase in the demand for hearing health care services as new patient groups who expect a higher quality of life begin to request hearing care.
