  1. 1. On the formation of small molecules by radiative association

    Författare :Sergey V. Antipov; Göteborgs universitet; Göteborgs universitet; Gothenburg University; []
    Nyckelord :molecule formation; diatomics; radiative association; resonances; cross sections; rate coefficients;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis is devoted to the theoretical investigation of radiative association, which is one of the processes contributing to formation of molecules in the interstellar medium. The formation of the CN, SiN, SiP and CO molecules through radiative association of the corresponding atoms in their ground electronic states is studied by the means of classical and quantum dynamical calculations. 2. 2. Molecular Recognition in Antibody Engineering. Studies on recombinant and phage displayed antibodies

    Författare :Ann-Christin Malmborg Hager; Institutionen för immunteknologi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; transplantation; affinity; antibody; kinetic; Immunologi; serologi; serology; Immunology; Bioteknik; Biotechnology; library; selection; surface display; phage display; association rate; dissociation rate;

    Sammanfattning : In vitro generation of antibody fragments of desired specificity and affinity plays an important role since it permits the generation of reagents which may be valuable for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. Furthermore, the kinetic parameters for an antibody-antigen interaction, rather than the affinity, has shown to correlate with biological functions like virus neutralization. LÄS MER

  3. 3. In-hospital patient safety - prevention of deterioration and unexpected death by systematic and interprofessional use of early warning scoring

    Författare :Gitte Bunkenborg; Anestesiologi och intensivvård; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Patient safety; Adverse event; Vital parameters; Deterioration; Early warning score; Mortality rate; Unexpected death; Clinical intervention; Adherence; Implementation; association;

    Sammanfattning : Abstract In-hospital patient safety is at times hampered, leaving general ward patients at considerable risk of gradual, even life-threatening, deterioration. In many European clinical settings, inappropriate nursing practice of bedside monitoring and management has recently been addressed as impending to in-hospital patient safety. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Perceptions of Wooden Multifamily Houses : Applying an Extended Association Pattern Technique

    Författare :Tobias Schauerte; Anders Baudin; Anders Pehrsson; Arno Frühwald; Växjö universitet; []
    Nyckelord :ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Wooden multifamily houses; German construction market; end-user; perceptions; house building industry; Means-End theory; laddering; Association Pattern Technique; matrix-survey.; Other industrial engineering and economics; Övrig industriell teknik och ekonomi; Maskinteknik; Mechanical Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : During the past years, wooden one and two family houses showed a higher growth rate on the German construction market compared to conventional material like brick and stone. Wood as construction material became more and more attractive. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Strategies for assessing health risks from two occupational cohorts within the domain of northern Sweden

    Författare :Ove Björ; Tohr Nilsson; Håkan Jonsson; Lena Damber; Per Gustavsson; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Cohort; mortality; incidence; risk; rate; cancer; cerebrovascular diseases; exposure; occupational; mining; industry; worker; Poisson regression; Cox regression; SMR; causal inference; G-estimation; Occupational and Environmental Medicine; arbets- och miljömedicin; epidemiologi; Epidemiology;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Studies based on a cohort design requires access to both subject-specific and period-specific information. In order to conduct an occupational cohort study, access to exposure information and the possibility and permission to link information on outcomes from other registers are generally necessary.
