Sammanfattning : Carl Lindhagen was one of Sweden’s most well-known politicians at the beginning ofthe 20th century. He entered parliament as a Liberal in 1897 but joined the Social Democrats in 1909. Drawing on an African-centered theoretical framework, my analysis of identity formation centers on the interplay between colonial and patriarchal structures, in relations formed between African evangelical reformists and Swedish missionaries. Sammanfattning : Prior to the Second World War, there was a Swedish-speaking population settled on the north-western Estonian coasts. The early history of this group is largely unknown. Sammanfattning : The social role of magic is a prevalent theme of the medieval Icelandic sagas that claim to describe life several centuries earlier in the Viking Age, and indeed also saturates the Eddic poetry that is our primary source for the mythology and cosmology of the time. However, little archaeological or historical research has been done to explore what this aspect of ritual may really have meant to the men and women of late Iron Age Scandinavia. LÄS MER
