    Sammanfattning : This study investigates state interaction as a social learning process, where the ultimate aim is to enhance an understanding on how states learn of environmental norms. An entry into the domain on such learning processes is offered through a Constructivist approach and more specifically through the employment of a role theoretical perspective; a role here is signified as a state's repertory of behavior and its social position within a group. The skills of argumentation have been emphasized in science education during the past decades and SSIs are proven a good context for learners to enhance skills of argumentation and achieve the goal of scientific literacy.     Sammanfattning : I use the concept of ambivalence—the state of being faced with a choice that cannot be resolved without sacrificing something of value—to approach five contemporary debates in the philosophy of moral responsibility: (1) psychopathy, (2) free will, (3) the emotion of guilt, (4) regret and indirect moral luck, and (5) moral demandingness. Rather than arguing for one theory or another, acknowledging ambivalence paves the way for resolving these debates by reconciling the opposing sides. LÄS MER
