6. Från uppväxt till lärargärning : En livsberättelsestudie med åtta yrkeslärare på industritekniska programmet
Sammanfattning : The thesis is based on eight vocational teachers’ life stories with the aim to provide knowledge about vocational teachers and their work with pupils in teaching in the industrial-technology programme, in the context of both a working life and a vocational education which is continuously changing. The thesis answers two research questions: 1) the themes that recur in vocational teachers’ life stories about how they meet and teach their pupils and 2) the teaching goals and strategies which emerge from vocational teachers’ life stories. Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the thesis was to examine factors associated with (Study 1), predictors (Study II), and experiences (Study III) involved with being active in working life after the expected retirement age and the experiences of exiting working life before the expected retirement age (Study IV). 9. När smärtan blir en del av livet : livsomställning vid kronisk sjukdom och funktionshinder
Sammanfattning : Syftet med undersökningen är att beskriva de livsförändringsprocesser som blir nödvändiga då en person drabbas av kronisk sjukdom eller ett funktionshinder. Vad innebär det att drabbas av en kronisk sjukdom eller ett funktionshinder? Hur lär man sig leva med de nya livsvillkoren? Dessa frågor belyses utifrån intervjuer med kvinnor som drabbats av kronisk smärta (fibromyalgi eller myofasciellt smärtsyndrom), samtliga aktiva i arbetslivet. LÄS MER
