Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to discuss German Nazism and Nazi Germany from the point of view of two specific representatives, namely, labour and capital. This has been facilitated by analysing the content of the Swedish Seamen’s Union’s newspaper, The Seafarer [Sjömannen] and its union counterpart, the Swedish Shipowners Association’s periodical, Scandinavian Shipping Gazette [Svensk Sjöfarts Tidning], from November 1932 up to and including 1945. 12. Blodet och korset : Tankefigurer i kristen nationalsocialism i Sverige, 1925-1945
Sammanfattning : This dissertation outlines continuity and change in how national socialists in Sweden incorporated ideas of Christianity into their political project to establish a national socialist society from 1925 to 1945. The study includes national socialism into the political family of generic fascism – a genus of political ideology, often expressed as a worldview, whose mythic core in its various permutations is a palingenetic form of revolutionary, anti-egalitarian radical nationalism. Sammanfattning : This dissertation treats the choreographic works of Julian Algo (1899-1955), a ballet master in the Royal Opera house in Stockholm 1931-1952, whose experience and education were from Theatertanz, and Swedish dance history about his works. Theoretically it is inspired by post-modern historiography (Jenkins, Munslow, White), queer theory (Sedgwick, Doty, Rosenberg) and research about masculinities in dance (Burt). LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : In this dissertation I examine how the Holocaust survivor has been constructed in Swedish public discourse during the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. This is done using a Foucauldian-inspired genealogical method through which an eclectic collection of sources—newsreels, films, radio programs, television programs and newspaper articles—is analyzed.
