  1. 1. The Key to Intelligent Transportation Systems: Identity and Credential Management for Secure and Privacy-Preserving Vehicular Communication Systems

    Författare :Mohammad Khodaei; Panagiotis Papadimitratos; Antonio Lioy; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Security; Privacy; Vehicular PKI; VPKI; Identity and Credential Management; Vehicular Communications; VANETs; Availability; Scalability; Resilient; Efficiency; Micro-service; Container Orchestration; Cloud;  Certificate Revocation List; Location Privacy; Mix-zones; Pseudonymity; Anonymity; Untraceability; Pseudonym Transition; Pseudonym Unlinkability.; Säkerhet; personlig integritet; identitet- och behörighetsuppgifter; tillgänglighet; skalbarhet; motståndskraftig; effektivitet; moln; pseudonymitet; anonymitet; ospårbarhet.; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Vehicular Communication (VC) systems can greatly enhance road safety and transportation efficiency and enable a variety of applications providing traffic efficiency, environmental hazards, road conditions and infotainment. Vehicles are equipped with sensors and radars to sense their surroundings and external environment, as well as with an internal Controller Area Network (CAN) bus. 2. 2. On Certificate Transparency Verification and Unlinkability of Websites Visited by Tor Users

    Författare :Rasmus Dahlberg; Tobias Pulls; Stefan Lindskog; Steven J. Murdoch; Karlstads universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Auditing; Certificate Transparency; DNS; Gossip; Side-Channels; Timing Attacks; Tor; Tor Browser; Website Fingerprinting; Website Oracles; Granskning; Certificate Transparency; DNS; Skvaller; Sidokanaler; Tidtagningsattacker; Tor; Torswebbläsare; Mönsterigenkänning; Webbplatsorakel; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Certificate Transparency is an ecosystem of logs, monitors, and auditors that hold certificate authorities accountable while issuing certificates. We show how the amount of trust that TLS clients and domain owners need to place in Certificate Transparency can be reduced, both in the context of existing gradual deployments and the largely unexplored area of Tor. 3. 3. Some aspects of cryptographic protocols : with applications in electronic voting and digital watermarking

    Författare :Björn Terelius; Douglas Wikström; Helger Lipmaa; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Cryptographic protocols are widely used on the internet, from relatively simple tasks such as key-agreement and authentication to much more complex problems like digital cash and electronic voting. Electronic voting in particular is a problem we investigate in this thesis. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Connecting Social Science and Information Technology : Democratic Privacy in the Information Age

    Författare :Mikael Sundström; Statsvetenskapliga institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; systems theory; Political and administrative sciences; IT Information Technology Democracy Privacy; Informatics; Social sciences; systemteori; Informatik; Statsvetenskap; förvaltningskunskap; Samhällsvetenskaper;

    Sammanfattning : This work has two main ambitions. First, we will develop a generic framework which, properly used, can drastically reduce the intrinsic complexity of the continually evolving IT-environment, making it less unwieldy. That should prove advantageous for anyone trying to analyse social aspects of the moving target that is classified as "IT". LÄS MER

  5. 5. Optimization and Control in Dynamical Network Systems

    Författare :Håkan Terelius; Karl Henrik Johansson; Alexandre Proutiere; Giacomo Como; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Optimization; Networks; Transportation; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Dynamical network systems are complex interconnected systems useful to describe many real world problems. The advances in information technology has led the current trend towards connecting more and more systems, creating "intelligent" systems, where the intelligence originates in the scale and complexity of the network.
