  1. 1. Range Camera Imaging : From Human Body Measurements to Very Large 3D Points Scenes Visualization

    Författare :Gaël Neuez; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; 3D visualization; EASYTEX; anatomical landmarks; body scanner; range camera; 2D image projections; structured light; octree data structure;

    Sammanfattning : The use of camera range imaging for the purpose of 3-dimensional representation and non-contact measures is widely used in industry, medicine, computer-aided design and other areas. Different range imaging methods can be applied, such as stereo, laser sheet of light, and structured light. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Inferior Vena Cava (REBOVC) : Experimental and clinical studies

    Författare :Maria B. Wikström; Kristofer F. Nilsson; Tal M. Hörer; Pirkka Vikatmaa; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Retrohepatic inferior vena cava; trauma; injury; hemorrhagic shock; endovascular; REBOVC;

    Sammanfattning : Juxtahepatic venous injuries often cause life-threatening hemorrhagic shock, the mortality is high and new management methods are needed. The aims were to explore endovascular methods for retrohepatic vascu-lar isolation, their effects on survival, hemodynamics, metabolism, end-organ damage and bleeding, and if ultrasound and anatomical land-marks could be used to guide placement of resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the inferior vena cava (REBOVC). 4. 4. Diffusion tensor magnetic resonance imaging of the brain : Tractography analysis with application in healthy individuals and patients

    Författare :Johanna Mårtensson; Elna-Marie Larsson; Jimmy Lätt; Danielle van Westen; Tim Dyrby; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Magnetic Resonance Imaging; Diffusion Tensor Imaging; Tractography; white matter tracts; Radiology; Radiologi;

    Sammanfattning : In study 1, thirty-eight healthy controls were used for optimization of the method. Fifteen patients with progressive supranuclear palsy and an equal number of age-matched healthy controls underwent diffusion tensor MRI and were then investigated and compared groupwise. LÄS MER
