  1. 16. Detection and Structure Elucidation of Drug Metabolites in Biological Samples using HPLC-MS/MS Techniques

    Författare :Annica Tevell Åberg; Mikael Hedeland; Ulf Bondesson; Mario Thevis; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; analytisk farmaceutisk kemi; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis describes the structure elucidation of drug metabolites in biological samples by the use of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) atmospheric pressure ionization (API) tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS). Due to their different advantages, various mass analyzers have been used in the different experiments. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Enantiomeric separation by capillary electrophoresis : With special emphasis on the partial filling technique

    Författare :Ahmad Amini; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; analytisk farmaceutisk kemi; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Capillary electrophoresis as a powerful separation technique was employed for resolution of racemic drugs. Taurodeoxycholate (TDC), different cyclodextrins and α1- acid glycoprotein (AGP) were dissolved in the background electrolyte at low pH (3.0 to 4.0 ) as chiral selectors. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Cellobiohydrolase I as a chiral sector

    Författare :Mikael Hedeland; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; analytisk farmaceutisk kemi; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : The protein cellobiohydrolase I (CBH I) immobilized on silica particles has been used as a chiral selector in liquid chromatography (LC) and the free enzyme has served as a chiral complexing agent in the background electrolyte in capillary electrophoresis (CE) using the partial tilling technique.The CE systems were much more efficient and more solutes could be enantioseparated than in the LC systems. Sammanfattning : Neutral and anionic chiral mobile phase additives have been employed to separate enantiomers of drugs and related compounds using aqueous buffer solution and hydro-organic solvent mixtures as mobile phases.Ester derivatives of tartaric acid, e. g. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Chiral packed capillary chromatography using an in-column immobilized selector : With special emphasis on vancomycin

    Författare :Lars A. Svensson; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; analytisk farmaceutisk kemi; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry;

    Sammanfattning : Packed fused silica capillary columns have been used for enantioseparation of drugs and related compounds. The technique to prepare the chiral stationary phase (CSP) involved a reductive amination of aldehyde functionalized silica with a chiral selector. The immobilization was performed in the packed column, thereby minimizing the use of selector. LÄS MER
