    Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis examines labour market legislation on disability and work in Sweden, England and Germany. In order to provide increased access to the labour market for people with disabilities all three studies countries have undertaken more of less far-reaching legislative measures over a number of decades, both in line with, or as a result of, general labour and employment legislation, but also as more specific parts of the labour market regulation.     Sammanfattning : Competitive cross-country (XC) ski athletes (defined hereafter as XC skiers and biathletes combined) are vulnerable to developing various health-related symptoms and conditions due to several factors, such as high physiological and psychological demands, extreme competition and training environments, high training loads, demanding competition schedules, and frequent travel. On initiating this work, we (the author and supervisory team) were approached by the Swedish Ski Association (SSF) and the Swedish Biathlon Federation (SSSF) to investigate the relationships between training, racing, and health problems, with a specific focus on illnesses (rather than injuries), and an ultimate goal of improving future support practices and athletic performance.     Sammanfattning : This thesis considers various aspects of the poverty in Mongolia, including estimations of the actual as well as future-looking poverty, its distributional and growth components, and selected policy impacts on poverty. Chapter two analyzes the inter-relationship between poverty, growth, and inequality in Mongolia, using Living Standard Measurement Survey (LSMS) for 1998 and 2002. LÄS MER
