  1. 11. Autobiographical odor memory

    Författare :Johan Willander; Maria Larsson; Martin Conway; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Autobiographical odor memory; autobiographical memory; olfaction; olfactory imagery; episodic memory; age distribution; phenomenological experience; emotion; Psychology; Psykologi; psykologi; Psychology;

    Sammanfattning : In the present thesis, three empirical studies investigate autobiographical odor memory with regard to: (a) whole life-span age distributions, (b) phenomenological experience, (c) semantic processing, and (d) odor imagery. Study I explored potential influences of cue type (words, pictures, odors) on the retrieval of autobiographical memories. LÄS MER

  2. 12. Autobiographical Memory : Depending on sensory retrieval cue and gender

    Författare :Kristina Petersén Karlsson; Fredrik Jönsson; Johan Willander; Sverker Sikström; Jonathan Koppel; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; autobiographical memory; sensory retrieval cues; age distribution; phenomenological ratings; latent semantic analysis LSA ; linguistic inquiry word count LIWC ; gender differences; Psychology; psykologi;

    Sammanfattning : In my thesis I raised two questions: Does autobiographical memory differ i) depending on the sensory retrieval cue (Study I and II)? and ii) depending on gender (Study III)?Concerning retrieval cues, three unimodal cues (i.e., photographs, naturalistic sounds and odors) and one multimodal cue (i.e. LÄS MER

  3. 13. Arvsrätt eller rätt till arv : en studie om arvsberättigande och kvarlåtenskapens fördelning

    Författare :Karin Kulin Olsson; Annina H. Persson; Eleonor Kristoffersson; Jane Stoll; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; inheritance; direct heirs; successor; will; surviving spouse; testament; distribution; estate;

    Sammanfattning : The present Swedish law of inheritance has developed slowly and is based on ideas stemming from an earlier social structure than that of today. When reforms have been made, modern regulations have been added to a very old structure. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Lead in blood. ICP-MS studies of lead in plasma, blood and erythrocyte proteins

    Författare :Ingvar A Bergdahl; Avdelningen för arbets- och miljömedicin; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; distribution; plasma; blood; erythrocytes; lead-binding prtoeins; delta-aminlevulinic acid dehydratase; inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry; ALAD; arbetsmiljömedicin; Occupational health; industrial medicine; Lead; toxicity; ICP-MS; Yrkesmedicin;

    Sammanfattning : An inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) method for the determination of lead in blood plasma has been developed. The detection limit was below 0.1 microgram/liter, and the precision 5%. There was no significant difference between levels in plasma and serum. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Plants go with the flow : predicting spatial distribution of plant species in the boreal forest

    Författare :Ursula Zinko; Christer Nilsson; Håkan Rydin; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Ecology; boreal forest; vascular plant; species richness; wetness index; soil pH; bryophyte; lichen; substrate; stand age; plot size; Ekologi; Terrestrial; freshwater and marine ecology; Terrestisk; limnisk och marin ekologi; ekologisk botanik; Ecological Botany;

    Sammanfattning : The main objectives of this thesis are to study if a topographic wetness index (TWI) could be used as a tool for predicting the spatial distribution of vascular plant species richness in the boreal forest as well as to study congruence in species richness between vascular plants, liverworts, mosses and lichens. A wetness index ln(a/tanβ) based on topography was used to assign a specific TWI-value to every 20 x 20m grid in two 25 km2 boreal forest landscapes (differing in average soil pH) in northern Sweden.
