16. On chip integrated sample preparation for proteomics
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis project has been to create miniaturized analytical tools that improve sample preparation for the very rapidly growing field of proteomics research. The presented miniaturized analytical tools provide novel and generic analytical solutions, which are highly adaptable for analysis of various low abundant biomolecules. LÄS MER
17. Affärshemligheter i samtid och framtid
Sammanfattning : Trade secrets represent great values in modern society. They can however not be considered assets if they are not protected, legally or otherwise. The present dissertation examines the legal protection of trade secrets as assets in business life. The study compares the law of France, the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden. LÄS MER
18. Improving Language Models Using Augmentation and Multi-Modality
Sammanfattning : Language models have become a core component in modern Natural Language Processing (NLP) as they constitute a powerful base that is easily adaptable to many language processing tasks. Part of the strength lies in their ability to embed associations representing general world knowledge. LÄS MER
19. Breathtaking Greenhouse Parastructures : a supplement to the Arcades Project from a Caribbean Perspective [and a call for a careful practice of epistemológica]
Sammanfattning : Breathtaking Greenhouse Parastructures is a doctoral work that supplements the unfinished modern opus The Arcades Project [in German Das Passagen-Werk (Mit Bindestrich und Werk mit Capital W) ]. The supplement takes the form of a sculptural, historical, and technological deposition of ‘greenhouse’ that presently oscillates between a past-background and future-foreground to Walter Benjamin's ‘theatrical’ handling of the Parisian arcades. 20. Applied Modeling of Moisture Phenomena in Concrete
Sammanfattning : This thesis contains new and improved calculation models, based on applied research merging numerical modeling and material research, in the areas of hydration and chemical binding of water, sorption of moisture and transport of moisture in concrete. The proposed model for hydration and chemical binding of water is based on general kinetics modeling and calculates degree of hydration directly, without using of equivalent time of maturity. LÄS MER
