  1. 16. Functions of Transcriptional Co-regulators in Drosophila development

    Författare :Tobias Lilja; Mattias Mannervik; Ze'ev Paroush; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Transcription; Co-regulator; Development; Drosophila; Developmental biology; Utvecklingsbiologi; Developmental Biology; miljömedicinsk utvecklingsbiologi;

    Sammanfattning : During Drosophila development, regulation of gene expression through interplay between transcriptional activators and repressors is generating complex patterns of gene expression that leads to cell differentiation. For proper control of transcription, transcription factors bind to DNA at control regions, so called Cis Regulatory Modules (CRM). LÄS MER

    Författare :Kristina Hansson; Per-Olof Erixon; Hans Örtegren; Mats Danell; Héctor Pérez Prieto; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; education; development efforts; new media; life story; autoethnography; activity theory; contradiction; dilemma; governmentality; critical discourse analysis; grundskola; nya medier; utvecklingssträvanden; livsberättelser; autoetnografi; aktivitetsteori; systemiska motstridigheter; dilemma; styrningsrationalitet; historisk diskursanalys; pedagogiskt arbete; educational work;

    Sammanfattning : Over time, the state has undertaken various reforms to govern the development of education. The issue of using new media may be seen as such an example. A change in the use of media in education imposes great challenges on both municipalities and teachers. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Development of Catalytic Nanomaterials for Three Industrial Processes

    Författare :Stylianos Nassos; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Fischer-Tropsch; nanotechnology; selective catalytic oxidation of ammonia; hydrogen production; CO2 capture; microemulsion; nanoparticles; activity; syngas; gasified biomass;

    Sammanfattning : Nanotechnology is a relatively new research topic that attracts increasing interest from scientists and engineers all over the world, due to its novel applications. The use of nanomaterials has extended to a broad range of applications, for example chemical synthesis, catalytic combustion and microporous media synthesis, contributing to achievement of improved or promising results. 4. 19. The Growth of Phrases. User-centred Design for Activity-based Voice Output Communication Aids

    Författare :Bitte Rydeman; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :AAC; Activity; Assistive Technology; Communication; Conversation Analysis; Corpus Linguistics; Cultural-Historical Activity Theory; Pragmatics; User-centred design; AKK; Aktivitet; Användarcentrerad design; Kommunikation; Kommunikationsanalys; Korpuslingvistik; Kulturhistorisk aktivitetsteori; Pragmatik; Samtalshjälpmedel;

    Sammanfattning : An activity-based vocabulary for Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCAs) was designed and evaluated through a user-centred, iterative design process, using expressions from the Gothenburg Spoken Language Corpus as well as other recorded, natural conversations. The growth and development of the vocabulary, called Phrases, was closely linked to its evaluation. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Ontogenetic and comparative aspects of cerebellar and motor development

    Författare :Maria Christensson; Institutionen för experimentell medicinsk vetenskap; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Neurologi; neurophysiology; Neurology; neuropsychology; Medicine human and vertebrates ; time-translation; cross-species; cerebellum; motor adaptation; development; ferret; external granular layer; neuropsykologi; neurofysiologi; Medicin människa och djur ;

    Sammanfattning : During the course of development the motor repertoire of animals and humans alike go through dramatic changes. New motor patterns arise; movements become coordinated, improve in precision and are at the same time continuously calibrated to the changing body dimensions. The cerebellum is critical for movement coordination and adaptation in adults. LÄS MER
