    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the transport of exogenous molecules across the blood-brain barrier (BBB), focusing on active efflux, using positron emission tomography (PET), computer simulation and modelling. Microdialysis was used to study unbound morphine BBB transport at different ages in sheep.
