6. Shipborne geophysical study of an Ordovician-Silurian carbonate platform, Fårö - Hiiumaa area, northeastern Baltic Sea
Sammanfattning : The lithological-stratigraphical subdivision, the internal structure and the present relief of the Lower Paleozoic bedrock sequence was investigated by means of high resolution shallow marine seismic reflection profiling in the northeastern Baltic Sea.The Cambrian, as well as the lowermost Silurian layers, show rapidly changing lithologies and thicknesses and provide no trans-Baltic seismic reflectors. 7. A Topographic Study of Functional Surfaces
Sammanfattning : Surface topography through the years has taken on increased importance, because of the rise in quality demands. The surface often has to meet additional functional demands when products become more complex in accordance with customer preferences. LÄS MER
8. Eastern equatorial Pacific bulk sediment properties and paleoceanography since the late Neogene
Sammanfattning : Reconstructing eastern equatorial Pacific (EEP) oceanography since the late Neogene (about 8 million years ago, Ma) is a central topic in current paleoceanographic investigations. The reason for this is two-fold. LÄS MER
9. An add-on filter technique to improve micropollutant removal and water quality in on-site sewage treatment facilities
Sammanfattning : Onsite sewage treatment facilities (OSSFs) in Sweden currently release significant amounts of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) into groundwater or/and receiving water bodies. Micropollutants (MPs) have been found in both surface water and groundwater, indicating insufficient removal of MPs by OSSFs. LÄS MER
