    Sammanfattning : This study investigates the relation between the design activity and entrepreneurial ambition of three academic labs: MIT Senseable City Lab, metaLAB (at) Harvard, and Medea at Malmö University. These labs are positioned at the borderland of academic research, as they operate in connection with external stakeholders (industry, NGOs, government institutions) through, for example, joint strategies of intellectual property management or the creation of start-ups.     Sammanfattning : The study approaches the question of the role and legitimacy of academic theology given a certain theoretical conception of the intellectual situation. From the perspective of a critical interpretation of some contemporary problems of theology, on the one hand, and some problematic aspects of secular thought, on the other, the study inquires into the notion of theology for a self-critical theoretical potential of general academic value.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation explores the interplay between valuation and academic socialization, addressing the question: how do early career academics navigate evaluative landscapes? Having completed their doctoral education but yet to find stable employment, early career academics are generally viewed as the most vulnerable group of academic staff. Comparing how individuals within this group seek to demonstrate their worth in order to be recognized by others and advance in their careers, I try to make sense of their world. LÄS MER
