    Sammanfattning : The electrified railway system consisting of overhead lines for traction power supply, auxiliary power, return conductors for traction current and the tracks can be modeled as a system of multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) above a finitely conducting ground. There are several lumped devices connected in series or in parallel along this MTL and the response of the MTL to electromagnetic transients need to be solved along with the device response. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, we focus on vulnerabilities and robustness of two wireless communication technologies: global navigation satellite system (GNSS), a technology that provides position-velocity-time information, and massive multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO), a core cellular 5G technology. In particular, we investigate spoofing and jamming attacks to GNSS and massive MIMO, respectively, and the robust massive MIMO receiver against impulsive noises. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : For studying the response to transients caused by lightning and other electromagnetic disturbance sources, electrified railway systems can be represented as a system of multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) above a finitely conducting ground.
