    Sammanfattning : Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a fatal disease that exhibits patterns of usual interstitial pneumonia with honeycombing. IPF is characterized by damaged distal lung epithelium with excessive tissue scarring and extracellular matrix remodeling.
