  1. 6. Towards a Gold Standard for Points-to Analysis

    Författare :Tobias Gutzmann; Welf Löwe; Jonas Lundberg; Jens Krinke; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :Points-to Analysis; Dataflow Analysis; Static Analysis; Dynamic Analysis; Gold Standard; Data- och informationsvetenskap; Computer and Information Sciences Computer Science;

    Sammanfattning : Points-to analysis is a static program analysis that computes reference informationfor a given input program. It serves as input to many client applicationsin optimizing compilers and software engineering tools. Unfortunately, the Gold Standard – i.e. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Pith location and annual ring detection for modelling of knots and fibre orientation in structural timber : A Deep-Learning-Based Approach

    Författare :Tadios Habite; Anders Olsson; Osama Abdeljaber; Jan Oscarsson; Welf Löwe; Julie Cool; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Sawn timber; Pith location; Deep learning; Artificial neural networks; Convolutional neural network; Conditional generative adversarial network; Knot detection; Knot modelling; Knot reconstruction; Fibre orientation; Annual ring profile; Byggteknik; Civil engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Detection of pith, annual rings and knots in relation to timber board cross-sections is relevant for many purposes, such as for modelling of sawn timber and for real-time assessment of strength, stiffness and shape stability of wood materials. However, the methods that are available and implemented in optical scanners today do not always meet customer accuracy and/or speed requirements. LÄS MER

  3. 8. MaltParser -- An Architecture for Inductive Labeled Dependency Parsing

    Författare :Johan Hall; Joakim Nivre; Welf Löwe; Martin Volk; Växjö universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Dependency Parsing; Support Vector Machines; Machine Learning; Language technology; Språkteknologi; Computer and Information Sciences Computer Science; Data- och informationsvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : This licentiate thesis presents a software architecture for inductive labeled dependency parsing of unrestricted natural language text, which achieves a strict modularization of parsing algorithm, feature model and learning method such that these parameters can be varied independently. The architecture is based on the theoretical framework of inductive dependency parsing by Nivre \citeyear{nivre06c} and has been realized in MaltParser, a system that supports several parsing algorithms and learning methods, for which complex feature models can be defined in a special description language. 4. 9. Transition-Based Natural Language Parsing with Dependency and Constituency Representations

    Författare :Johan Hall; Joakim Nivre; Welf Löwe; Sandra Kübler; Växjö universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Natural Language Parsing; Syntactic Parsing; Dependency Structure; Phrase Structure; Machine Learning; Computer science; Datavetenskap; Computer and Information Sciences Computer Science; Data- och informationsvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Denna doktorsavhandling undersöker olika aspekter av automatisk syntaktisk analys av texter på naturligt språk. En parser eller syntaktisk analysator, som vi definierar den i denna avhandling, har till uppgift att skapa en syntaktisk analys för varje mening i en text på naturligt språk. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Efficient Automatic Change Detection in Software Maintenance and Evolutionary Processes

    Författare :Sebastian Hönel; Morgan Ericsson; Welf Löwe; Anna Wingkvist; Přemek Brada; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Software Maintenance; Software Evolution; Effort Estimation; Commit Classification; Computer Science; Datavetenskap; Software Technology; Programvaruteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Software maintenance is such an integral part of its evolutionary process that it consumes much of the total resources available. Some estimate the costs of maintenance to be up to 100 times the amount of developing a software. LÄS MER
