  1. 6. Web Applications for Large-Scale Decision Support : Preference Elicitation, Modeling and Visualization

    Författare :Samuel Bohman; Aron Larsson; Bo Sundgren; Majlender Peter; Göran Cars; Øystein Sæbø; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; World Wide Web; Decision Support Systems; Data Visualization; Man-Machine-Interaction MMI ; människa-maskin-interaktion MMI ;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis addresses the lack of effective and efficient technology design in current e-participation research by investigating two approaches that yet have not been explored to any great extent in the literature: decision science and data visualization. It is concerned with the problem of how to combine techniques from these two fields to achieve decision support in the context of e-participation; from preference elicitation and modeling to data analysis, visualization and final recommendations, such that it can provide value to practitioners. 2. 7. Supporting loose forms of collaboration : Using Linked Data to realize an architecture for collective knowledge construction

    Författare :Hannes Ebner; Marko Turpeinen; Ambjörn Naeve; John Breslin; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; linked data; collaboration; information model; contribution; application architecture; web application; web standards; www; open world assumption; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology; Media Technology; Medieteknik; Computer Science; Datalogi;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis is driven by the motivation to explore a way of working collaboratively that closely reflects the World Wide Web (WWW), more specifically the potential of the Web architecture built on Semantic Web technologies and Linked Data. The goal is to describe a generic approach and architecture that satisfies the needs for loose collaboration and collective knowledge construction as exemplified by the applications described in this thesis. 3. 8. Integration of building product data with BIM – Semantic representation of product data

    Författare :Rahel Zeleke Kebede; Peter Johansson; Annika Moscati; He Tan; Ekaterina Petrova; Jönköping University; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; BIM; Information exchange; Product data; Semantic web technologies; Linked Data; Design science; BIM; Informationsutbyte; Produktdata; Semantiska Nätverk; Länkad Data; DSR;

    Sammanfattning : The adoption and implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM), as technologies and processes, in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry marked a significant step forward in advanced digital transformation. One of the distinctive features of the AEC industry is that it necessitates a collaborative effort between several actors from different domains to realize building projects effectively. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Querying Data Providing Web Services

    Författare :Manivasakan Sabesan; Tore Risch; Roberto V. Zicari; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; views of web service operations; web service queries; adaptive parallelization; query optimization; Computer science; Datalogi; Datavetenskap med inriktning mot databasteknik; Computer Science with specialization in Database Technology;

    Sammanfattning : Web services are often used for search computing where data is retrieved from servers providing information of different kinds. Such data providing web services return a set of objects for a given set of parameters without any side effects. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Everyday mining : Exploring sequences in event-based data

    Författare :Katerina Vrotsou; Matthew Cooper; Anders Ynnerman; Kajsa Ellegård; Andrew S. Harvey; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Event-based data; activity diary data; event-sequences; interactive exploration; sequence identification; visual data mining; Computer science; Datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Event-based data are encountered daily in many disciplines and are used for various purposes. They are collections of ordered sequences of events where each event has a start time and a duration. LÄS MER
