    Sammanfattning : Duplex stainless steels can be very attractive alternatives to austenitic grades due to their almost double strength at equal pitting corrosion resistance.     Sammanfattning : Grain orientation in an anisotropic weld highly influences ultrasound paths and thus is a significant parameter when making simulations of ultrasonic testing of anisotropic welds. Weld hot cracking occurs by fracture of liquid films, normally grain boundary liquid films, at the late stage of the solidification of the weld.
