1. Adoption of the Innovation System Concept in Sweden
Sammanfattning : In 2001 Sweden founded the government agency of VINNOVA, named after the OECD-endorsed innovation system concept. Criticising the common assumption that countries are passive and uncritical recipients of the approaches promoted by the OECD, this dissertation tries to show that Swedish actors were in fact very active and strategic as they contributed to the national adoption of the concept. 3. Computational weld mechanics - Increased accuracy in fatigue assessment, distortion and residual stress analysis
Sammanfattning : This thesis work is concerned with the mechanical response of welded steel structures, which are distortions, residual stresses, and fatigue. The accuracy of fatigue assessment, distortion and residual stress analysis using Computational weld mechanics (CWM) is focused. LÄS MER
4. The Dark Side of Decentralized Target Tracking : Unknown Correlations and Communication Constraints
Sammanfattning : Using sensors to observe real-world systems is important in many applications. A typical use case is target tracking, where sensor measurements are used to compute estimates of targets. Two of the main purposes of the estimates are to enhance situational awareness and facilitate decision-making. Hence, the estimation quality is crucial. LÄS MER
5. Financial performance measurement supporting the transition towards circular business models
Sammanfattning : Financial performance measurement plays an important role in leading decision-makers through strategic innovation, such as business model innovation. To convey relevant information, it is important that the practices used to measure financial performance are appropriate to what is being measured. LÄS MER
