  1. 1. Inkomst av näringsfastighet i enskild näringsverksamhet - arbetsinkomst eller kapitalinkomst?

    Författare :Urban Rydin; Juridiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; income taxation; taxes; simple company; earned income; depreciation carry back and repair carry back.; finansrätt; skatterätt; fiscal law; capital gains taxation; simple firm; classification of activity; classification of real estate; capital income; dualistic tax system;

    Sammanfattning : Since the tax reform of 1990 the Swedish tax system separates earned income and capital income. On earned income such as "income from business" taxes and fees leads to a total margin tax burden that vary between 45 and 75 %. This margin effect can be compared to the 30 % proportional income tax on capital income. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Integrating the bucking operation with production control in sawmilling

    Författare :Urban Nordmark; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Träteknik; Wood Technology;

    Sammanfattning : There is an ongoing shift in production strategy in the sawmill industry in Scandinavia from bulk production of standard grades towards customer- oriented production of well-defined products. The bucking operation places limits on the timber that can be sawn from the logs. Thus, it is important to be able to control the bucking process. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Multitemporal Remote Sensing for Urban Mapping using KTH-SEG and KTH-Pavia Urban Extractor

    Författare :Alexander Jacob; Yifang Ban; Paolo Gamba; Francesca Bovolo; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; KTH-SEG; ASAR; HJ-1B; Urban Land Cover Mapping; OBIA; Segmentation; Image Classification; KTH-Pavia Urban Extractor; Urban Extent; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik;

    Sammanfattning : The objective of this licentiate thesis is to develop novel algorithms and improve existing methods for urban land cover mapping and urban extent extraction using multi-temporal remote sensing imagery. Past studies have demonstrated that synthetic aperture radar (SAR) have very good properties for the analysis of urban areas, the synergy of SAR and optical data is advantageous for various applications. 4. 4. Urban Area Information Extraction From Polarimetric SAR Data

    Författare :Deliang Xiang; Yifang Ban; Thuy Le Toan; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Polarimetric SAR; Scattering Decomposition; Man-Made Target Detection; Edge Detection; Superpixel; Urban Classification; Polarimetrisk SAR; Spridningsnedbrytning; Upptäckt av artificiella objekt; Kantupptäckt; Superpixel; Urban klassificering; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik;

    Sammanfattning : Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) has been used for various remote sensing applications since more information could be obtained in multiple polarizations. The overall objective of this thesis is to investigate urban area information extraction from PolSAR data with the following specific objectives: (1) to exploit polarimetric scattering model-based decomposition methods for urban areas, (2) to investigate effective methods for man-made target detection, (3) to develop edge detection and superpixel generation methods, and (4) to investigate urban area classification and segmentation. 5. 5. Brain Emotional Learning-Inspired Models

    Författare :Mahboobeh Parsapoor; Bertil Svensson; Urban Bilstrup; Christian Balkenius; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis the mammalian nervous system and mammalian brain have been used as inspiration to develop a computational intelligence model based on the neural structure of fear conditioning and to extend the structure of the previous proposed amygdala-orbitofrontal model. The proposed model can be seen as a framework for developing general computational intelligence based on the emotional system instead of traditional models on the rational system of the human brain.
