  1. 1. Mechanisms of modulation of PDGFRβ signaling

    Författare :Niki Sarri; Carl-Henrik Heldin; Bengt Hallberg; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; PDGF signalling; phosphatase; MKP2; DUSP4; deubiquitinase; USP4; USP17; E3 ligase; Cbl; TRIM21; endoribonuclease; G3BP1; Medicinsk biokemi; Medical Biochemistry; Medical Cell Biology; Medicinsk cellbiologi;

    Sammanfattning : Platelet-derived growth factors (PDGF) constitute a family of five functional dimers that bind to two structurally related tyrosine kinase receptors i.e. PDGF receptor α and β (PDGFRα and PDGFRβ, respectively), controlling cell growth, proliferation, and migration in cells of mesenchymal origin. 2. 2. Regulation of Hyaluronan Synthesis and Signaling via CD44 in Cancer

    Författare :Merima Mehić; Paraskevi Heldin; Carl-Henrik Heldin; Liliana Schaefer; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Hyaluronan; CD44; TGFβ; PDGF-BB; cancer; signaling; hyaluronan synthase; epithelial-mesenchymal transition; Biology with specialization in Molecular Biology; Biologi med inriktning mot molekylärbiologi; Medical Science; Medicinsk vetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Hyaluronan is a ubiquitous glycosaminoglycan which is an important constituent of the extracellular matrix (ECM). In addition to organizing the extracellular matrix and regulating tissue homeostasis, hyaluronan, by binding to its main cell surface receptor CD44, is involved in intracellular signaling pathways regulating major cellular processes during development, wound healing, inflammation and cancer. 3. 3. Modulation of PDGF receptors function by posttranslational modifications

    Författare :Kehuan Wang; Carl-Henrik Heldin; Johan Lennartsson; Natalia Papadopoulos; Jean-Baptiste Demoulin; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; PDGF signaling; receptor tyrosine kinase; ubiquitination; DUB; STAT3; SUMO; SUMOylation; cleavage; autophagy; SQSTM1 p62; LC3; GABARAP; bafilomycin A1; Medicinsk biokemi; Medical Biochemistry; Medical Cell Biology; Medicinsk cellbiologi;

    Sammanfattning : The platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFRs) play important roles in multiple cellular processes including cell survival, cell growth and cell migration. Dysregulation of PDGFRs causes aberrant PDGF signaling, which leads to various diseases. LÄS MER
