    Sammanfattning : The study treats a class of engraved scarab gems commonly known by the name of a globolo, produced in Central Italy in the Late Classical to Early Hellenistic periods. The point of departure is a newly developed database of all known specimens, which amount to 1,470, covering a wide range of information categories, which have guided the structure of the presentation.     Sammanfattning : This dissertation provides the first comprehensive account of the prosody of Halh (Khalkha) Mongolian as spoken in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of the Republic of Mongolia.     Sammanfattning : Metrical versions of the Passion form a significant part of the substantial body of devotional literature written in Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries. The aim underlying them was twofold: to meet the demand for works which could be used for purposes of educadon, edification, and private worship but also to show that the vanacul-ars could be used to produce distinguished works written in accordance with the aesthetic ideals of Classical and Neo-Latin poetry.
