1. A Method for Designing Resilient Digital Business Ecosystems
Sammanfattning : Organisations and companies are transforming their ways of conducting business by combining digitalisation and digital collaboration in digital business ecosystems (DBE) in order to be able to remain competitive in global markets. However, for companies and organisations to be able to take full advantage of such collaborative business constellations, several challenges, including the capture and coordination of information concerning individual DBE actors and various perspectives of a DBE and the design of resilience for a DBE, need to be addressed. 2. Parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP), calcium and human osteoblast-like cells
Sammanfattning : Parathyroid hormone-related protein (PTHrP) may cause humoral hypercalcernia of malignancy (HHM) when overproduced by malignant tumors, but is also produced in lower amounts under normophysiological conditions in practically all cell types, including osteoblasts. One of the aims of the present study was to investigate interactions between PTHrP and osteoblasts, to elucidate bone-regulating functions of PTHrP. LÄS MER
3. Approximations of Integral Equations for WaveScattering
Sammanfattning : Wave scattering is the phenomenon in which a wave field interacts with physical objects. An incoming wave is scattered at the surface of the object and a scattered wave is produced. Common practical cases are acoustic, electromagnetic and elastic wave scattering. LÄS MER

5. Non-Standard Crystallography : Examples in 3- and 3+1 Dimensional Space
Sammanfattning : Crystallography today is by many seen as merely a tool for determining the structure of a material on the atomic level. It is expected that whatever comes out of the tool is the indisputable truth, a fact. This thesis is based on five publications illustrating that this is very far from the real world of materials research. LÄS MER
