  1. 1. Progress in Hierarchical Clustering & Minimum Weight Triangulation

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Computer Science, Lund University

    Författare :Drago Krznaric; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [1997]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; computer technology; Systems engineering; minimum spanning tree; complete linkage; hierarchical clustering; minimum weight triangulation; greedy triangulation; Data- och systemvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we study efficient computational methods for geometrical problems of practical importance and theoretical interest. The problems that we consider are primarily complete linkage clustering, minimum spanning trees, and approximating minimum weight triangulation. Below is a list of the main results proved in the thesis. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Fixed-Parameter Algorithms for Optimal Convex Partitions and Other Results

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Computer Science, Lund University

    Författare :Magdalene Grantson Borgelt; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [2006]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; control; Datalogi; numerical analysis; Convex Partition; Computer science; Triangulation; kontroll; system; numerisk analys; systems; Fixed-Parameter Algorithm; Spanning Tree;

    Sammanfattning : Popular Abstract in Swedish I denna avhandling studerar jag tvådimensionella geometriska optimeringsproblem. Gemensamt för många praktiskt och teoretiskt intressanta problemställningar inom området är att det är mycket svårt att ta fram optimala lösningar. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Computer assisted video microscopy : in characterization of capillary ensembles

    Detta är en avhandling från Linköping : Linköpings universitet

    Författare :Claes Asker; Linköpings universitet.; Linköpings universitet.; [2000]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; computer assisted video microscopy; capillary loops; capillary ensembles; skin microcirculation; triangulation; nearest neighbour; MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on evaluation and analysis of capillary microcirculatory changes in the skin, that can be improved and extended by computer assisted video microscopy. Capillary microscopy has been used extensively, both in clinical practice and research, to study different phenomena in the microvasculature of the skin, mainly in the nailfold of fingers and toes where a large portion of the capillary loop can be observed. 4. 4. Perspectives on Cooperative Design

    Detta är en avhandling från Stockholm : KTH

    Författare :Sinna Lindquist; KTH.; [2007]
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Cooperative design; design process; culture; individual; intersectionality; power structure; triangulation; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : The cooperative design approach, which research and practice have proven to be successful in several ways, is based on understanding users and their contexts through a variety of methods. This approach of working closely together with the users, however, is not the same thing as letting the users decide themselves what to design. LÄS MER

  5. 5. "Soy cocinera y camarero". La variación en el nombramiento de las mujeres profesionales en España

    Detta är en avhandling från Göteborg : University of Gothenburg

    Författare :Christel Larsson; Göteborgs universitet.; Gothenburg University.; [2015]
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Female professional designations; European Spanish; gender; linguistic sexism; sociolinguistics; survey; in-depth interviews; Grounded Theory; triangulation;

    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this dissertation is to generate a theory explaining the variation in the way the Spaniards, particularly the Spanish women, designate female professionals. Three different studies are included, the first one a quantitative survey on how the use of the three main strategies for referring to female professionals (the feminine: la abogada; the common gender: la abogado; lexical modification: mujer abogado) is determined by the sex, the age and the educational level of the speakers.
