  1. 1. Meta-analysis of randomized clinical evidence of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and endocrine therapy in breast cancer

    Detta är en avhandling från Kreta, Greece : University of Crete

    Författare :Antonis Valachis; Örebro universitet.; Region Örebro län.; [2012]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Breast cancer; Meta -analysis; Bisphosphonates; Bevacizumab; Trastuzumab; Fulvestrant;

    Sammanfattning :  Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer death in females worldwide. Despite the growing body of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) regarding the use of various treatment strategies (chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, radiotherapy) in breast cancer, the efficacy of some strategies remains unclear and questionable. 2. 2. Engineering Antibody Specificity Using Combinatorial Antibody Libraries

    Detta är en avhandling från Kreta, Greece : University of Crete

    Författare :Jenny Boström; [2009]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; antibody Antigen Interactions; Dual Specific Antibodies; Herceptin; Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2; Thermodynamic Analysis; therapeutic Antibody Engineering; Synthetic Phagedisplayed Antibody Libraries; Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor; Bacterial Display; trastuzumab;

    Sammanfattning : The research presented in this thesis investigates antibody specificity, antibody-antigen and protein-protein interactions using combinatorial antibody libraries, phage-display and bacterial display technology. One goal was to develop a method to generate antibodies that bind two protein antigens with high affinity using a single-antigen binding site, and to investigate the molecular and thermodynamic requirements for antibody multispecificity. 3. 3. Studies of targeted therapy in breast cancer using trastuzumab : HER2 testing and trastuzumab treatment – clinical and economic evaluation

    Detta är en avhandling från Stockholm : Karolinska Institutet, Dept of Oncology-Pathology

    Författare :Ulla Wilking; Karolinska Institutet.; Karolinska Institutet.; [2011]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : The incidence in breast cancer has more than tripled in Sweden since the 1960-ies. During the same time period the 5-year survival rate has increase from around 65% to almost 90%. The survival increase is mainly related to medical treatments (endocrine treatments, chemotherapy in different combinations), radiotherapy and breast cancer screening. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Antibody Mediated Radionuclide Targeting of HER-2 for Cancer Diagnostics and Therapy Preclinical Studies

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Mikael Persson; Uppsala universitet.; [2006]
    Nyckelord :Molecular medicine; Neoplasm Antibodies; Targeted Radiotherapy; Radionuclide Imaging; Molekylärmedicin;

    Sammanfattning : Targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) holds great promise for the treatment of cancer. In TRT, radioactive nuclides are delivered specifically to tumours by molecules that recognise and bind to structures overexpressed by, or specific to, cancer cells. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Prostate cancer theranostics using GRPR antagonist RM26

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Bogdan Mitran; Uppsala universitet.; [2019]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Gastrin-releasing peptide receptor GRPR ; Bombesin; Prostate-specific membrane antigen PSMA ; Antagonist; Radionuclide molecular imaging; Theranostics; Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy PRRT .;

    Sammanfattning : The malignant transformation of cells is often associated with an alteration of their molecular phenotype, resulting in overexpression of several cell surface proteins. Gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR) and prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) are examples of such pro-teins that are expressed at a high density in prostate cancer. LÄS MER
