1. Simulation of vertical dynamic interaction between railway vehicle and slab track
Sammanfattning : The usage of slab track for high-speed railway lines has increased in recent decades. In Sweden, the building of new railway lines for higher speed and the selection of track design for such lines are currently being debated. LÄS MER
2. Slab track optimisation considering dynamic train–track interaction
Sammanfattning : Slab track is a type of railway track that is frequently used e.g. in high-speed applications as an alternative to ballasted track. Slab track is also well suited on bridges and in tunnels since no ballast is required and the cross-section of tunnels can be reduced. LÄS MER
3. The Key to Intelligent Transportation Systems: Identity and Credential Management for Secure and Privacy-Preserving Vehicular Communication Systems
Sammanfattning : Vehicular Communication (VC) systems can greatly enhance road safety and transportation efficiency and enable a variety of applications providing traffic efficiency, environmental hazards, road conditions and infotainment. Vehicles are equipped with sensors and radars to sense their surroundings and external environment, as well as with an internal Controller Area Network (CAN) bus. LÄS MER
4. Reconstructing Si cycling in transition zones during the Holocene using terrestrial and aquatic records
Sammanfattning : Global biogeochemical cycles and their interactions are an important parts of climate research. Investigations during the last decades emphasize the key role of diatoms – siliceous phytoplankton – in the silicon (Si) cycle as they are important carbon sequesters in both marine and lacustrine environments. 5. Sirkas : ett samiskt fångstsamhälle i förändring Kr.f.-1600 e.Kr
Sammanfattning : The dissertation is an investigation of Sirkas-sijdda, a Sámi hunting society in the interior of northern Sweden in the period AD 1-1600. The principal sources are historical evidence for the period around 1600, which saw the beginnings of colonial settlement and reindeer pastoralism, and for the earlier period archaeological data from excavations.
