7. X-ray absorption spectroscopy through damped coupled cluster response theory
Sammanfattning : For a fundamental understanding of the interaction of electromagnetic radiation and molecular materials, experimental measurements are to be combined with theoretical models. With this combination, materials can be characterized in terms of composition, structure, time-resolved chemical reactions, and other properties. LÄS MER
8. Sami tourism in Northern Sweden : Supply, demand and interaction
Sammanfattning : Indigenous tourism is an expansive sector in the growing tourism industry. The Sami people living in Sápmi in northern Europe have started to engage in tourism, particularly in view of the rationalised and modernised methods of reindeer herding. Sami tourism offers job opportunities and enables the spreading of information. LÄS MER
9. 3-D Nautical Charts and Safe Navigation
Sammanfattning : In spite of all electronic navigation devices on a modern ship bridge, navigators still lose their orientation. Reasons for this might be excessive cognitive workload caused by too many instruments to read and compile, navigation information that is displayed in a cognitively demanding way, short decision times due to high speed or fatigue due to minimum manning and long work hours. 10. GNSS Radio Occultation Inversion Methods and Reflection Observations in the Lower Troposphere
Sammanfattning : GNSS Radio Occultation (GNSS-RO) is an opportunistic Earth sensing technique where GNSS signals passing through the atmosphere are received in low Earth orbit and processed to extract meteorological parameters. As signals are received along an orbit, the measured Doppler shift is transformed to a bending angle profile (commonly referred to as bending angle retrieval), which, in turn, is inverted to a refractivity profile.
