Sammanfattning : In a time when corruption is receiving increasing media coverage and when many claim to wage a war on corruption, this book brings up the need for a problematisation and an increased understanding of the different manifestations – the vicissitudes – of corruption and also what measures are taken against it. Sammanfattning : This study investigates how the legitimacy of the humanities was renegotiated in the context of Swedish politics of knowledge 1935–1980, a period that saw the establishment of a new regime of legitimacy based on rational planning. 5. Regulation and actions of insulin-like growth factor binding proteins in vascular smooth muscle cells
Sammanfattning : Insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) has multiple actions on vascular smooth muscle cell (VSMCs) function. In the circulation and in extracellular fluids, IGF-I is complexed to high affinity IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs), which modulate IGF-I bioactivity. The present study focused on expression and regulation of IGFBPs in VSMCs. LÄS MER
