  1. 1. ON ARTHRODESIS AND REPLACEMENT OF THE HUMAN ANKLE

    Författare :Thomas Anderson; Malmö Institutionen för kliniska vetenskaper; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Osteoarthritis; Replacement; Surgery; orthopaedics; traumatology; traumatologi; Kirurgi; ortopedi; Rheumatoid arthritis; Arthrodesis; Ankle;

    Sammanfattning : Of 30 primary ankle fusions in patients with osteoarthrosis, 25 ankles underwent clinical evaluation by two independent observers. In 29 cases, two independent radiologists, unanimously found 26 ankles to be radiographically fused, and three not fused. The consistency between the two orthopaedic surgeons evaluations was somewhat lower. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Searching for food in complex environments : Integrating processes at multiple spatial scales

    Författare :Thomas Alexander Verschut; Peter Hambäck; Peter Anderson; Ring Cardé; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Associational effects; Natal experiences; Olfaction; Oviposition; Plant Ecology; växtekologi;

    Sammanfattning : Resources are often unevenly distributed through the environment, resulting in a challenging task for insects to locate food, mates and oviposition sites. Consequently, there is an ongoing need to unravel how insects rely on behavioural and sensory traits while searching for resources in heterogeneous environments. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The eutrophication of the Baltic Sea due to increased anthropogenic nutrient loads during the 20th century is well documented and studied. However, in the Baltic Sea drainage area, humans have affected the environment longer than the environmental monitoring can provide data for. LÄS MER
