2. Team rehabilitation and health care utilization in chronic inflammatory arthritis patients
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to study outcome and evaluation of rheumatological multidisciplinary team rehabilitation programmes in patients with chronic inflammatory arthritis (CIA); rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and other spondyloarthritides, and to analyse health care utilization over the last decade in patients with RA. 3. The long-term injured competitive athlete : A study of psychosocial risk factors
Sammanfattning : The thesis includes five separate studies concerned mainly with psychosocial aspects of the problems that athletes afflicted with long-term sport injuries face. The first study deals with relationships between personality variables, coping strategies and mood-levels, both in athletes participating in competitive sports and in a non-athlete reference groups.
