    Sammanfattning : Denna studie tar utgångspunkt i frågan varför många döva barn har svårt att lära sig matematik. Studiens syfte är att belysa döva barns begreppsbildning i ämnet matematik genom att beskriva hur några döva barn uttrycker sig och agerar på väg mot förståelse av två centrala matematiska begrepp, nämligen multiplikation med heltal och längd.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to investigate the interaction in sign language in a classroom in the special school for deaf and hard of hearing pupils. Three questions are of particular interest: What characterizes interaction in educational situations where the whole class is present compared to half the class and when the pupils in small groups are solving problems given by the teacher? How are a hearing and a deaf teacher interacting in the classroom? And How are boys and girls interacting in different educational situations?Theoretically the study is based on an educational interaction model. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study was to compare two preschools with respect to how they reacted to and developed a programme for group-based integration of heating-impaired and deaf children. Two main issues were addressed: (1) How the two preschools reacted to and developed the integration programme as regards: (a) the attitudes of the staff to the programme's goals and means; (b) the work of the staff (forms of work, purpose/content and teaching activities); and (c) the children's play, particularly as it relates to social interaction between hearing impaired/deaf and hearing children.
