1. Target zones : theory and evidence

2. Zonal organization of the mouse olfactory systems
Sammanfattning : Animals survey their environment for relevant odorous chemical compounds by means of the olfactory system. This system is in most vertebrates divided into a main and accessory olfactory system with two specialized neuroepithelia, the olfactory and the vomeronasal epithelium, respectively. LÄS MER
3. Chartist trading in exchange rate theory
Sammanfattning : This thesis consists of four papers, of which paper 1 and 4 are co-written with Mikael Bask. Paper [1] implements chartists trading in a sticky-price monetary model for determining the exchange rate. It is demonstrated that chartists cause the exchange rate to "overshoot the overshooting equilibrium" of a sticky-price monetary model. LÄS MER
4. 2D and 3D Reflection Seismic Studies over Scandinavian Deformation Zones
Sammanfattning : The study of deformation zones is of great geological interest since these zones can separate rocks with different characteristics. The geometry of these structures with depth is important for interpreting the geological history of an area. LÄS MER
5. A behavioural investigation into Eristalis tenax : Pursuit, approach estimation, locomotor activity and rearing
Sammanfattning : Hoverflies are suggested to be the 2nd most important pollinator group after bees and bumblebees, and with the changing climate and dwindling numbers of pollinators it might never have been more important understanding our pollinators. Given the hoverflies’ small brains, beautiful aerial acrobatics, good temporal resolution, but limited spatial resolution, these flies make interesting study animals for flight behaviour and vision research.
