  1. 1. Internal Tar/CH4 Reforming in Biomass Dual Fluidised Bed Gasifiers towards Fuel Synthesis

    Författare :Kristina Göransson; Per Engstrand; Wennan Zhang; Kevin J Whitty; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Allothermal gasification; Bio-automotive fuels; Biomass gasification; Catalytic bed-material; Dual fluidised bed; Ni-catalyst; Syngas cleaning; Tar removal; Tar CH4 reforming;

    Sammanfattning : Production of high-quality syngas from biomass gasification in a dual fluidised bed gasifier (DFBG) has made a significant progress in R&D and Technology demonstration. An S&M scale bio-automotive fuel plant close to the feedstock resources is preferable as biomass feedstock is widely sparse and has relatively low density, low heating value and high moisture content. 2. 2. Co-gasification of black liquor and pyrolysis oil: Fuel conversion and activity of alkali compounds

    Författare :Albert Bach Oller; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energiteknik; Energy Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Gasification using entrained flow reactors generates syngas that can be upgraded tochemicals with little gas cleaning. Black liquor (BL) is a by-product from pulping industrythat consists of residual wood constituents and spent pulping chemicals. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Biomass conversion through syngas-based biorefineries : thermochemical process integration opportunities

    Författare :Katarina Åberg; Anders Nordin; Linda Pommer; Erik Dahlquist; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Biomass; biorefinery; thermochemical conversion; torrefaction; slow pyrolysis; gasification; process integration; carbon negativity;

    Sammanfattning : The replacement of fossil resources through renewable alternatives is one way to mitigate global climate change. Biomass is the only renewable source of carbon available for replacing oil as a refining feedstock. Therefore, it needs to be utilized not just as a fuel but for both biochemical and thermochemical conversion through biorefining. LÄS MER
