  1. 1. Absorbent Materials from Kraft Pulp

    Författare :Fredrik Wernersson Brodin; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; retention; MFC; oxidation; Absorbent; absorption; TEMPO; freeze drying; disintegration;

    Sammanfattning : SuperAbsorbent Polymers (SAPs) have, since being introduced in the 1980s, become an important constituent in hygiene products, such as disposable diapers. The design of disposable diapers has changed over the years and today thinner products can be produced partly because of the excellent absorption and retention properties of the petrochemical-based SAPs. 2. 2. Mechanical Pulp-Based Nanocellulose : Processing and applications relating to paper and paperboard, composite films, and foams

    Författare :Sinke Henshaw Osong; Per Engstrand; Sven Norgren; Mark Martinez; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; mechanical pulp; thermo-mechanical pulp; chemi-thermomechanical pulp; fractionation; fines; homogenisation; nanocellulose; nano-ligno-cellulose; microfibrillated cellulose; nanofibrillated cellulose; paper; strength properties; crill; TEMPO; nanographite NG ; composite films;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with processing of nanocellulose originating from pulps, with focus on mechanical pulp fibres and fines fractions. The nanocellulose materials produced within this research project were tested for different purposes ranging from strength additives in paper and paperboard products, via composite films to foam materials. 4. 4. Rich in Nuances: a Performance-Oriented Study of Otto Olsson’s Organ Music

    Författare :Sverker Jullander; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Sweden; organ music; harmonium music; organist; composer; Otto Olsson 1879–1964 ; performance practice; music analysis; counteroint; sonata form; etude; meditation; chorale; plainsong; musical symbolism; Orgelbewegung; sound recordings; late Romantic organs; registration; tempo; metronome markings; agogics; articulation; phrasing; slurs; ornamentation; Credo Symphoniacum;

    Sammanfattning : The dissertation deals with the organ music of Otto Olsson (1879–1964), a leading Swedish organist, church musician, composer, pedagogue, and organ expert in the first half of the 20th century. The aim of the study is to formulate a historical performance practice fro Olsson’s organ music, conceived within a late Romantic performance tradition, which must be regarded as lost. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Manufacturing and Characterization of Cellulose Nanofibers

    Författare :Carl Moser; Mikael Lindström; Gunnar Henriksson; Kristin Syverud; KTH; []
