    Sammanfattning : When Nathan Söderblom became archbishop in 1914 he substantially altered and extended the office of archbishop. This study deals with how and why the office of archbishop has changed from Söderblom’s incumbency down to the introduction of an assistant bishop in the archdiocese in 1990. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation is an ecclesiological study, conducted in the form of a case study that examines worship praxis in six parishes in the diocese of Luleå between 1990 and 2009. The specific research problem of the dissertation is whether the organizational changes that took place in connection with the relational change between Church and State in 2000 are reflected in local worship and in church service related decisions in diocese and parishes, and how the concrete relationship between worship praxis and regulations is manifested.     Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with questions concerning ongoing constructions of heterosexuality as a norm in the Swedish church. Empirically the study is based partly on interviews with thirteen homo- and bisexual priests, one district visitor and one church politician and partly on some of the church’s own inquiries and documents concerning the question of Christianity and ”deviant” sexuality. Published and unpublished sources have been studied in order to reconstruct the network, organization, practices, strategies and self-understanding of the movement in relation to its national and international context.
