1. Massive MIMO with Low-Resolution Data Converters: Algorithm Design and Performance Evaluation
Sammanfattning : Massive multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) is foreseen to be a key technology in next-generation (5G) cellular communication systems, due to huge potential gains in spectral efficiency and energy efficiency. In this thesis, we investigate the performance of massive MIMO systems, which operate over a Rayleigh-fading channel, for the case when the base station (BS) is equipped with low-resolution data converters. 2. Massive Multi-Antenna Communications with Low-Resolution Data Converters
Sammanfattning : Massive multi-user (MU) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) will be a core technology in future cellular communication systems. In massive MU-MIMO systems, the number of antennas at the base station (BS) is scaled up by several orders of magnitude compared to traditional multi-antenna systems with the goals of enabling large gains in capacity and energy efficiency. 3. Cold trapping and reinjection techniques for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry
Sammanfattning : This thesis describes the use of cold trapping and reinjection techniques in combination with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. A summary of different cold trap/ reinjection systems is presented. LÄS MER
4. Clinical and experimental studies on total hip arthroplasty
Sammanfattning : In a 12-year follow-up study, a low-friction, metal-on-plastic hip prosthetic system (Charnley) was compared with a high-friction, metal-on-metal prosthetic system (McKeeFarrar) in a consecutive series of 169 patients, mean age 67 at the start. Satisfactory results were reported in 92 percent of the patients. LÄS MER
5. Att konstruera en uppslutning kring den enda vägen : Om folkrörelsers modernisering i skuggan av det östeuropeiska systemskiftet
Sammanfattning : This thesis is about some Swedish organizations that are connected to the labour movement and their actions to cope with the new hegemony around market liberalism. After the fall of the Soviet Union in the early 90-ties, the liberal order, meaning market economy and democracy reduced to the election of elites, has become totally domineering both in the western and in the former communist world.
