6. Structural, Kinetic and Thermodynamic Aspects of the Crystal Polymorphism of Substituted Monocyclic Aromatic Compounds
Sammanfattning : This work concerns the interrelationship between thermodynamic, kinetic and structural aspects of crystal polymorphism. It is both experimental and theoretical, and limited with respect to compounds to substituted monocyclic aromatics. LÄS MER
7. Structural studies of protein : protein complexes in the early secretory pathway
Sammanfattning : In this thesis, components of three different protein-protein complexes in the early secretory pathway have been studied by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography, with the aim of giving detailed structural information on each protein and gaining a deeper insight into the molecular mechanisms by which each protein performs its function and interactions. The work has resulted in the three-dimensional structures of MCFD2, a protein involved in transport of coagulation factors V and VIII, Erv41p, a vesicle protein proposed to play a role in glycoprotein processing and transport, and the co-chaperone P58IPK. 8. Företagare eller politiker? En studie av styrelsearbete i kommunala bostadsbolag
Sammanfattning : Today municipally owned companies are an established part of the Swedish local organisation. Municipally owned companies are situated in the boundary between the public and private sectors and that leads us to ask what effect this has on the work of their boards. LÄS MER

10. Circulating and Mucosal Antibodies to Citrullinated Antigens in Rheumatoid Arthritis
Sammanfattning : Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by joint inflammation and subsequent destruction of cartilage and bone. The etiology is largely unknown, although genetic as well as environmental factors are involved. The manifestations and consequences of RA differ between individuals. LÄS MER
