    Sammanfattning : Konzo is a permanent spastic para/tetraparesis occurring in undernourished populations in Africa relying on insufficiently processed bitter cassava, which contains cyanogenic compounds, as staple food.     Sammanfattning : The isokinetic systems developed in the present study can measure torque in maximal voluntary and passive movements. The torque recordings may be combined with surface EMG recordings from pairs of antagonistic muscles involved in the movement. Healthy subjects and patients with spastic paresis have been examined.
