    Sammanfattning : Popular Abstract in Spanish Resumen En esta tesis se describe el desarrollo y la posterior aplicación en el aula de los Modelos Didácticos del Subjuntivo 1 y 2, cuyo mecanismo se centra en la utilización de una pregunta con la cual el estudiante podrá hacer la elección modal más adecuada para cada caso. El modelo unifica conceptos y valores adjudicados al subjuntivo y presenta la gramática desde una perspectiva cognitiva, lo que apela a la capacidad representacional inherente de cada hablante.     Sammanfattning : This thesis was motivated by contradictory results from previous studies on reading describing foreign language learners in upper secondary school. Methods based upon ideas by Palinscar & Brown, Cooper, Beck et al, and Krashen were tested on approximately 200 students studying Spanish in the first two years of upper secondary school in Sweden.     Sammanfattning : The main purpose of this study is to establish a socio-pragmatic categorization of politeness and impoliteness activities in informal interactions. In doing this, we describe the communicative strategies related to (im) politeness phenomena and how they are used to produce certain social effects in face-to-face interaction through the ongoing negotiation of participants’ face (Goffman, 1967).
