  1. 16. Theoretical study of light-molecule nonlinear interactions

    Författare :Ke Zhao; Yi Luo; Fahmi Himo; Valdas Pasiskevicius; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Bioengineering; Bioteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The work presented in the thesis concerned theoretical study of light-matter nonlinear interactions. Two important aspects of such interactions have been examined, namely the nonlinear optical properties of a series of organic charge transfer molecules in solutions induced by the laser light and the propagation of the ultrafast high power laser through the nonlinear molecular medium. 2. 17. Ultra-fast dynamics in atoms and molecules during photoionization: from attoseconds to femtoseconds

    Författare :Erik Månsson; Synkrotronljusfysik; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; photoelectron spectroscopy; momentum imaging; coincident detection; correlation; direct double ionization; Born–Oppenheimer approximation; high harmonics; synchrotron radiation; Fysicumarkivet A:2014:Månsson;

    Sammanfattning : Treating the correlated behaviour of multiple particles is challenging for both theory and experiment. This thesis reports on a variety of experimental investigations aiming to advance the understanding of fundamental processes in atoms and molecules: double ionization, isomerization and dissociation. 3. 18. Theoretical study on nonlinearoptical properties of organicchromophores in solutions

    Författare :Ke Zhao; Yi Luo; Ruth Pachter; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; two-photon absorption; solvent effects; aggregation effects; molecular dynamics simulation; Theoretical chemistry; Teoretisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Inter-molecular interactions have significant influences on linear and nonlinear optical properties of molecules including one- and two-photon absorptions, emissions, and various high order nonlinear polarizations. The related investigation has become an active and challenging research area. LÄS MER
