24. Monsters I Love : On Multivocal Arts
Sammanfattning : Proposing a ‘multivocal practice’ in the vocal arts, this exposition (documented artistic research project) embodies an inclusive approach to four core categories for the contemporary performance voice: the singing, speaking, extended and disembodied voice. The culmination of a four-year PhD project in the Performative and mediated practices, with specializations in choreography/film and media/opera /performing arts, it documents artistic research sub-projects through the presentation of multimedia material, interweaving performance recordings with reflection and informative threads. Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to define and analyze the religious ideas, praxis and organizations of the Taizhou movement using the earliest sources from the Ming dynasty. The Taizhou movement originated with a salt merchant named Wang Gen (1483–1541), who became a disciple of the well-known Neo-Confucian philosopher Wang Yangming (1472–1529). LÄS MER
