    Sammanfattning : Indoor environment may influence the occurrence of symptoms such as eye, skin and upper airway irritation, headache and fatigue. The aim of the dissertation was to study relations between subjective indoor air quality, such symptoms, clinical signs from the nose and the eyes and the physical indoor environment, in particular the effect of dampness, type of building, and air humidification.     Sammanfattning : The objective of the dissertation was to study the cabin environment, and identify personal and environmental risk factors, associated with symptoms, and perception of cabin air quality.     Sammanfattning : In Europe, approximately one in five adults experience chronic pain, pain that lasts more than three months. Chronic pain is a significant problem not only for those people suffering from chronic pain but also for society. The prevalence of chronic pain is higher in women and lower socioeconomic groups.
