Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the history of Swedish children's comics and their narrative characteristics. The history is presented as five chronological periods from ca. 1890 to the present day (2005). The contents of the comics are compared to contemporary Swedish children's literature and are discussed in terms of recurring motifs and genres. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Interest in comics as Swedish school material has risen in the last few years and the publication of comics for children and adolescents has also increased. Meanwhile, although research around new literacies has taken an interest in combinations of image and text, there is still little research on comics as a literacy material, especially as part of school practices. 4. Invariant Subspaces in Spaces of Analytic Functions
Sammanfattning : Let D be a finitely connected bounded domain with smooth boundary in the complex plane. We first study Banach spaces of analytic functions on D . The main result is a theorem which converts the study of hyperinvariant subspaces on multiply connected domains into the study of hyperinvariant subspaces on domains with fewer holes. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : This thesis contains two parts:In the first papers I consider the development of mathematics up till around 1720. I have done a special study of the period between 1710 and 1720, when you could find three Swedes writing about contemporary mathematics, Christopher Polhem, Emanuel Swedenborg and Anders Gabriel Duhre.
