    Sammanfattning : Repeat sequences are associated with several human diseases, such as Friedreich’s ataxia, polycystic kidney disease and cancer.     Sammanfattning : In this thesis, we propose and discuss a class of motion-adaptive transforms (MAT) to describe the temporal correlation in image sequences for compression.
