  1. 1. Inductive Pulse Generation

    Författare :Adam Lindblom; Hans Bernhoff; Jan Isberg; Anders Larsson; Owen Farish; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Technology; Pulsed Power; Inductive Pulse Generator; High Voltage; Semicon; XLPE; TEKNIKVETENSKAP; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : Pulsed power generators are a key component in compact systems for generation of high-power microwaves (HPM). HPM generation by virtual cathode devices such as Vircators put high demands on the source. The rise time and the pulse length of the source voltage are two key issues in the generation of HPM radiation. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Atomic and Electronic Structure of III-V Semiconductor Surfaces

    Författare :Örjan Olsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; semiconductor; GaAs; photoelectron; scanning tunneling microscopy; valence band; core level; reconstruction; InAs; surface; InSb;

    Sammanfattning : The atomic and electronic structure of clean and Cs-perturbed III-V semiconductors was studied by angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES), surface core level spectroscopy (SCLS), and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). The work can be divided into three parts, dealing with low-index sur-faces, high-index surfaces, and special features of InAs. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Extending Photoinduced Charge Separation. Molecular-semiconductor assemblies for solar energy conversion

    Författare :Valeria Saavedra; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Artificial photosynthesis; Back-electron transfer; Ruthenium complexes.; Dye-sensitized; Charge recombination; Charge separation; Conduction band mediated;

    Sammanfattning : The conversion of solar energy into chemical energy by harvesting visible-light with synthetic molecules presents several scientific and technological challenges. This thesis is dedicated to the investigation of approaches to long-lived charge separation, one of the crucial aspects for the photochemical generation of solar fuels. LÄS MER
